Hola hola, readers! Bienvenidos. I have *some* book news. 👀
My debut adult historical fantasy SUN OF BLOOD AND RUIN will be published next year by Harper Voyager/HarperCollins, with a second book to follow.
CUE.
THE.
FANFARE.
WHAT IS SOBAR ABOUT?
SOBAR is inspired by Zorro + the history and mythology of Mexico.
The story follows Pantera, a masked vigilante in 16th-century Spain-occupied Mexico. She is a sorceress and uses her magic and swordplay skills to battle in a world of war, corruption, oppression, impending doom, and you guessed it—ruin, all whilst trying to conceal her secret identity—which you will have to read the book to find out! (^ ‿ ^)
Basically, if Zorro had a daughter, the result would be Pantera—but with ✨ magic ✨.
WHAT YOU WILL FIND IN SOBAR
A lot of my favorite things, including but not limited to:

And lots of fantastical battles set against the backdrop of 1550’s Mexico
The Mask of Zorro came out three days before my tenth birthday. That's about when my love for the iconic character and superheroes began.
To this day, my heart soars when I hear,
“It isn’t just one man, dammit! It’s Zorro!”
I can't wait to share this story with readers. I hope you love it as much as I do, especially all you Zorro fans out there.
In the meantime, SOBAR is already available to add on Goodreads.
More exciting things to come!
